Northern Michigan's season of cherry blossoms is one of the warmest parts of the Midwest's soul. Michigan has some of the most underrated beaches in America. Where else can you see acre upon acre of orchards flowering so magnificently in the Spring? Lake Michigan's beautiful turquoise water in the backdrop makes for a stunning backdrop for the growth of the incomparable sour cherries of the famed American cherry pie. These photos are mostly from the peninsula area of Traverse City.
