Local Food Haul: Early July

I love the turning point that happens in July at the farmers market. Bounty starts to trickle in, baby squash make their first appearance, beets are available in quantities suitable for canning, brassicas come in (look at that beautiful Purple of Sicily cauliflower!), and so do the glorious raspberries. Early eggplants are a nice surprise as well.
